Show Christ's love to the the next generation in our community, by serving them at the next Clothe A Child event.
Clothe A Child seeks to address the clothing needs of needy, homeless and underprivileged children in the community through partnerships with school districts, churches, and businesses. $100 of new clothing is given to each child in the program through our partnership with department stores and other retailers. Volunteer shoppers are paired with each family to assist them in their shopping needs or the parents can go alone.
A volunteer shopper is one of the most important and rewarding roles in the program. The volunteer shopper is the face of the program and the point of contact for the participating family they are partnered with, and will support the family throughout their shopping experience. Volunteer shoppers must be 16 or older, and are asked to wear comfortable shoes and bring a calculator. This outreach is done the week before the new school year, to allow the needy to return to school with dignity.
